American Fork did well at today's Nike Southwest Regionals, held at Toka Sticks Golf Course in Mesa. Arizona. It was cloudy, in the 60's and soft/muddy in places from earlier rain on the 5000m course. Complete Results
The Boys Team placed 4th overall in the Championship Race with 218 points. David Webb was 2nd Team All-Region with a 10th place finish in 14: 48.5. Chase Hejny was 32nd in 15:09.8. Dallin Harrington was 68th in 15:28.0. Bennett Jensen was 90th in 15:36.2. Yesterday the Cavemen participated at the 2025 Utah 6A Cross Country State Championships, held at Sugarhouse Park in Salt Lake City. It was sunny and high 50's on the 3.00 mile grass course.
Next Wednesday, October 29th, is the Utah State 6A State Cross Country Championships at Sugarhouse Park (2100 S. 1300 E.) in Salt Lake City.
Athletes are excused at Noon, and the bus will leave AFHS at 12:30 PM. Athletes must ride on the bus in order to be excused from school. Any athlete that misses the bus will not be allowed to race. Parents may take their athlete home after team cooldowns are completed, and if a coach has been notified.
