Dr. Carl Bell

Our team sends our sincerest condolences to the family of Dr. Carl Bell who passed away on Thursday night after a valiant battle with cancer. Dr. Bell was a great supporter of the AFHS Track and Cross-Country teams. He was well known in the Utah County running community and several of his 10 children participated on the teams at AFHS. He made  trips with the team to Footlocker West and the Simplot Games,  and was a chaperone for the boys team to Nike Cross Nationals in 2013. His love and support of our programs will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 11:00 am at the L.D.S. Chapel located at 270 North 900 East, American Fork, Utah, where a Viewing will be held prior to services from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. Interment will be at the Highland City Cemetery.
Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.uvfuneral.com.

Cross-Country News

Connor, Zac, and Casey had the opportunity to attend the Governor's State of Sport Awards banquet on Tuesday at the Energy Solutions Arena with Coach Mostert. Although we didn't win the awards for best team or best coach, we did get to meet Jay Leno who was the guest speaker.

Lexie Green and Maddie Bench both signed National Letters of Intent last week with Weber State University.
