Pre-Region Grinder

 The Boys Team ran the Grinder today in preparation of our Region Championships next Tuesday.

Brody Jones earned his "I Conquered The Grinder" t-shirt with a time of 8:37.

Austin Plewe earned his spikes with a time of 7:42.

On Tuesday, the Girls Team ran the Grinder.

Skye Jensen tied the Girls' Record with a time of 8:44.

Three girls earned their t-shirt:

Kaydi Lee in 10:21, and Kat Leach and Katie Piccolo, both in 10:24.

Twi-Knight Invitational Information

 The Cavemen will be participating this Friday at the Twi-Knight Invitational, held at Art Dye Park in American Fork. We will meet as a team at the park.

Welcome to the twiKNIGHT Invitational. We run this early evening so temps are cooler and the setting is beautiful. The course is 3.0 miles all on grass, dirt so spikes recommended. Very spectator friendly and a true XC Course.

Border Wars Information

 The Boys Team will be racing this Saturday at the Border Wars Invitational, held at the Valley Regional  Sports Park ( 5100 S, 2700 W., Taylorsville).

The Team will meet at AFHS at 6:30 for a light jog and visualization. The bus will leave AFHS at 7:15 AM. All athletes must ride on the bus in order to compete. Any athlete that misses the bus will not be allowed to race. Parents may take their athlete home after team cooldowns are completed, and if a coach has been notified.

Park City Invite Information

 The Boys Team will be racing this Friday afternoon at the Park City Invitational. The meet will be held at the Quinn's Junction Sports Complex, 600 Gilmor Way, Park City (off Hwy 40).

The bus will leave AFHS at 2:00 PM. All athletes must ride on the bus in order to compete. Any athlete that misses the bus will not be allowed to race. Parents may take their athlete home after team cooldowns are completed, and if a coach has been notified.

5:50 boys varsity (10 runners allowed per team)

6:15 awards (team awards and top 10 individuals in each race)
