Border Wars Results

 The Cavemen participated Friday in the Border Wars XC Invitational held at Sugarhouse Park in Salt Lake City.  The Girls Varsity kept their undefeated season intact by winning the Girls Championship Race by 77 points over the 25 team 3 mile hilly race  course. The Boys Varsity showed improvement by placing 3rd in the 25 team Boys Championship Race. Complete Results

Border Wars Information

 This Friday the Cavemen will be participating at the Border Wars XC Invite at Sugarhouse Park, 1300 E. 2100 S. in Salt Lake City. 

The bus will leave AFHS at 11:00 AM. All athletes must ride on the bus in order to compete. Any athlete that misses the bus will not be allowed to race. Parents may take their athlete home after team cooldowns are completed, and if a coach has been notified.

Pre-State Information

 The Cavemen will be racing this Thursday, September 16th at the Pre-State XC Race held at Rose Park Regional Athletic Complex, 2280 Rose Park Lane, SLC. 

Athletes will be released from school at 9:30 AM. The buses will leave AFHS at 10:00  AM. All athletes must ride on the bus in order to compete. Any athlete that misses the bus will not be allowed to race.  Because of Covid-19 precautions, the Salt Lake County Health Department has deemed that unvaccinated spectators must wear a mask at the meet.  Parents may take their athlete home after races and team cooldowns are completed and if a coach has been notified.

Spectator Parking/Fees: There will be ample parking inside of the facility for spectators to attend this meet.  We have been asked not to have anyone parking in the residential neighborhood.  Regardless of where spectators park, ALL spectators will be required an entrance fee whether they walk into the facility or drive in to the facility.  Spectator charges are as follows: a single person will be $5 + service fee, a carload up to 5 people will be $15 + service fee and a carload of 6 or more is $25 + service fee.  This money helps cover the facility charges and use of equipment.

 This Saturday, The Cavemen will be racing at the Timpanogos Invite, held at the Lakeside Sports Park (400 S. 1800 W. in Orem).

The team bus will leave AFHS at 6:30 AM. All athletes must ride to the meet on the bus in order to compete. Athletes missing the bus will not compete.

Parents may take their athlete home after team cooldown and stretch at the end of the meet, and if a coach has been notified.
