Following the race I spoke with Utah State coach, Coach Griggs. She stated that the course is about 150 meters long. The actual course length was around 5150 meters. She stated that they don't care that it is long because everyone is running the same course and that placement is what matters, but for timing sake let it be known that the course is around 5150 meters long.

Exactly! The top 3 teams in Utah and arguably 3 of the top 7 teams in the SW were there. When it comes to rankings certain publications with the initials MileSplit have the same mentality as this Aggies coach. They will compare a longer course at elevation to the one being run the very same weekend ( Woodbridge ) at sea level when it comes to rankings.
