Way to go AFXC! I put together a little trivia since the NCAA is coming up on Monday! NCAA National XC Championships are on Monday so I thought I’d put together some trivia ahead of this event.
The first Championship was in 1938 and in 1981 the women had their first.
Only 2 times this meet has been cancelled. 1943 and 2020!
Villanova University women’s XC under the tutelage of the great Marty Stern won 6 titles in a row from 1988-1994!
The first 26 years of this event were hosted by Michigan State University!
John McDonnell and the Arkansas Razorbacks are the winningest collegiate sports program ever with 11 in XC 10 in T&F and another 19 in indoor T&F!
