It was nice, cool, and calm for the Girls Open Division Race. The American Fork girls placed 4th with a team time of 99:24.

The wind started picking up during the middle of the Boys Open Division Race.

The Boys Championship Race was next. It was in the low 80's with a strong East wind and lots of dust on the Casa Grande 5000m course. The boys earned their 8th straight trip to the National Championships, and 7th Regional championships with a 42 point win over their rivals from Davis.

The Girls Championship Race saw the temperature continue to climb, and the wind continue to blow.
The girls will have to wait until Sunday night to see if they get an at-large bid to Nationals, by their 4th place finish. It was their 3rd best finish ever at the Regionals
