Cross-Country Camp

 

We have returned! Today we got back from our 4 day Cross-Country Camp at  Clear Creek, just South of Scofield Reservoir. Camp was at  8000' altitude, which kept the temperature below 80 degrees.  The athletes ran twice daily and ate an enormous amount of food. Coach Mostert taught daily classes on our training to prepare for the upcoming season. We would like to thank the parents who helped transport and chaperone the athletes, and Brandon, the site caretaker, and his family for hosting us. We were the first cross-country team to use the facility for a team camp.

Grinder Week #7

 Congratulations to Will Thrasher and Bennett Jensen. They earned their "I Conquered The Grinder" t-shirts today with times of 8:41 and 8:53, respectively.

We would like to thank the teams from Crater High School (Oregon) and Blue Valley Southwest High School (Kansas), and athletes from Georgia and California come and do The Grinder with our team today.

  Congratulations to Freshmsn Sarah Watson. She earned her "I Conquered The Grinder" t-shirt  by running 10:17 today. We'd like to thank Westlake High School for coming and doing the Grinder with the Girls Team today.

Another reminder: All register my athlete stuff must be uploaded and a check for $50 made out to "Caveman Track Club" handed in by Friday's deadline to go to camp next week.
