Nike Southwest Regional Results

 The Cavemen participated today in the Nike Southwest Regional Cross Country Championships at Coyote Run Golf Course in Mesa, Arizona.

The course was muddy from intemittant rain showers during the previous night and during the morning. It was cloudy and in the low 60's.

Championship Boys Race: The Boys won their 9th Regional Championship with 79 points; 42 points ahead of second place. Daniel Simmons was Individual Champion for the second year in a row in a course record of 14:41. Ben Jaster was 2nd team All-Region with a 13th place finish. The Boys qualified for their 11 trip to Nike Cross-Nationals since 2009.
